Kitten Found in the Trash in Turkey Now Lives Like Royalty in Boston
An American family traveling in Turkey found a unique souvenir to bring home. The Bostonian family were grocery shopping one night when they heard soft meows by the store’s trash can. That’s when they found Bonçuk, a tiny abandoned two week old kitten, who they knew they needed to rescue.
Having already adopted two cats from the animal shelter in Boston, they knew they could give Bonçuk a great life, and took her to the vet in Turkey to make sure she was healthy. However, when they started their journey to bring Bonçuk home, they encountered many problems, namely that the four week old kitten was too young to fly. Luckily they met many cat heroes, and with the help of three other people (two cat sitters and a flight companion), Bonçuk was finally able to get to Boston.
With the help and kindness from strangers, Bonçuk is now living a lush life with her loving family, including her two cat siblings!

Working from Home with Your Cat + Tips for Healthy Boundaries
Can’t get work done since you’ve moved your office home? Kitty waking you up at night? We’ve got some tips to help you and your cat enjoy your space together (and sometimes separately).
When it comes to sharing an office with a cat, setting yourselves up for success is the best thing you can do, cat experts say. If your cat has been too distracting to your work, you can try and set them up in another room with a food puzzle or other toys to encourage independent play. If your cat prefers to stay close by, try setting up their own bed in your office far enough away that you won’t be distracted.
Setting up specific times for play before and after your work day will help your cat learn your routine as well. And speaking of play time, this has another benefit in tiring out your paw-some pal for a full night’s sleep. If you find your cat can’t adjust to sleeping most of the night, you can make sure that they are kept busy with challenging toys. An automatic feeder in the morning may also keep your cat from pouncing on you at 5am!
In general, the best way to set healthy boundaries with your cat is to be consistent, give them plenty of attention, and to keep your cat active.
